SOYA CHUNKS & SPINACH FRY


YOU NEED:

1. Soya Chunks (Soaked in water for 15-20 minutes)

2. Chopped Spinach (Palak) - 1 cup
3. Chopped Onions - 1 cup
4. Chopped Tomatoes - 1 cup
5. Chopped Green Chillies - 3-4
6. Chopped Coriander Leaves (Cilantro) - 1/2 cup
7. Chopped Ginger - 1/4 cup
8. Chopped Garlic - 1/4 cup
9. Green Peas - 1 cup
10. Lime Juice - 2 spoon

11. Fenugreek (Methi/Mentya) Seeds - 1 tsp
12. Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp

13. Turmeric Powder (Haldi) - 1 tsp
14. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
15. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp

16. Oil (To Fry) - 2 tbsp
17. Salt

METHOD:

1. Heat oil in a pan and add

(1) Fenugreek (Methi/Mentya) Seeds
(2) Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
(3) Chopped Onions
(4) Chopped Green Chillies
(5) Salt

Mix well. Saute till onions turn golden brown.

(6) Chopped Ginger
(7) Chopped Garlic
(8) Turmeric Powder
(9) Red Chilli Powder

Mix well. Saute for few more minutes till the rawness of ginger and garlic gets out.

(10) Chopped Tomatoes

Mix well. Saute for few minutes till tomatoes get tender.

(11) Chopped Spinach
(12) Soya Chunks (By squeezing water out)
(13) One cup water

Mix well. Cover a lid and let it get cooked for about 10 minutes.

(14) Garam Masala
(15) Green Peas

Mix well. Cover a lid and let it get cooked for about 2 minutes.

(16) Chopped Cilantro
(17) Lime juice

Mix well.

Serve with phulkas/Chapathis/Rice.
